Countess Nadine Carody, a wealthy recluse, performs as a stripper at a club in Istanbul. Linda Westinghaus is a woman who is strangely drawn to the Countess. Nadine appears in Linda's dreams, beckoning her. Linda is then sent to the Nadine's island on a business assignment. Dream and reality are mixed in the strange romance between Linda and Nadine. Linda falls under Nadine's spell and a living nightmare soon begins. She returns from the island with amnesia and recovers at the clinic of Dr. Seward, where Agra, a former victim of Nadine, is imprisoned. Agra's abandoned husband is now a sadistic killer. To her own surprise, Nadine falls in love with Linda and wants her to join her vampire ways. Yet Nadine's strength is fading and Linda finally refuses to sustain her; instead, she kills her. But when Linda's boyfriend and psychiatrist arrive, Nadine's body is mysteriously absent from the scene. Did Linda imagine everything, or has Nadine's spirit possessed her body?
